Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and Breazeale Interpretive Center

Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and Breazeale Interpretive Center is .2 mi. n. of Bay View State Park at 10441 Bayview-Edison Rd. This 10,600-acre reserve protects habitats ranging from open marine waters, tidal flats, marshes and beaches to wooded uplands and open fields. It is home to a variety of fish, mammals and birds, including nearly 250 visiting bird species. An interpretive center has aquariums and interactive learning modules about estuaries and watersheds. More than 3 miles of trails lead to beach, shoreline and upland areas.

Educational programs are presented periodically.
