Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum

Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum is at 5917 S. 196th St.; take I-5 exit 152 e. via Orillia Rd. and S. 200th St., which curves into S. 196th St. This fascinating collection of artifacts from the sport of powerboat racing includes ten restored, operational hydroplanes dating from the 1940s to the 1980s. Other displays showcase books, trophies and race memorabilia. Visitors also can see the powerboat restoration area and engine room.
