North Head Lighthouse

North Head Lighthouse, within Cape Disappointment State Park, 3 mi. s.w. off US 101, was built in 1897 and crowns its namesake promontory overlooking the Pacific. In 1853 the sailing ship Vandalia foundered on the rocks just north of the light on Beards Hollow. Tours of the lighthouse are offered.

Note: Children under 7 years are not permitted on the lighthouse tour.
