Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park

Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park is 3 mi. s.e. off SR 17 at 34875 Park Lake Rd. N.E. Huge floods rushing across eastern Washington during the last ice age carved a network of gashes, the largest of which is Grand Coulee. Dry Falls, Grand Coulee's central feature, was once a 3.5-mile-wide cataract over which water plunged about 400 feet. For those not wishing to attempt the moderately rough road through the park, Dry Falls is visible from both SR 17 and the interpretive center.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
