Marine Life Center

Marine Life Center is in Squalicum Harbor at 1801 Roeder Ave. The center is an open-air, covered exhibit featuring marine animals from the waters of Northern Washington. The touch pool allows visitors to touch live specimens of sea stars, hermit crabs, anemones and sea cucumbers. The main observation pool holds 1,500 gallons of sea water; among the marine creatures on display are rockfish, perch, sea stars and a spiny-headed fish called a sculpin. One aquarium is home to a giant Pacific octopus.
