W.T. Preston

W.T. Preston is at 703 R Ave. The Preston was the last stern-wheeler to operate on Puget Sound. Retired in 1981, the vessel is now a maritime museum; rooms and cabins feature original furnishings. The adjacent Maritime Heritage Center chronicles the role of snag boats in keeping navigation channels clear and details the area's unique maritime heritage.
