Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center

Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center is on the s. edge of Yorktown at 1000 Colonial Pkwy. The center includes a museum housing the tents used by Gen. George Washington, a reconstructed section of a gun deck and a British frigate captain’s cabin. A 15-minute film relates the events of the siege. Driving tours begin at this point; self-guiding tour leaflets and audio tours of the battlefield are available.
