AAA Editor Notes
Geddy Gunsmith is at 117 W. Duke of Gloucester St. at the Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area, off I-64 exit 238, following signs. The house was built in the 1760s. James Geddy Jr. operated a silversmith business here; a foundry and 18th-century furnishings can be seen. At this trade site, skilled artisans cast objects in brass, bronze, pewter and silver. The Gunsmith Shop also is on-site. Children can take part in storytelling activities, dance lessons and games.
