Department of the Interior Museum, 1849 C St. N.W., is in the Stewart Lee Udall Department of the Interior Building, which covers two city blocks between C and E sts. and 18th and 19th sts. The building contains many New Deal murals that can be viewed on a public tour or by appointment. Exhibits present the history and activities of the department and its varied bureaus.
