Grace Episcopal Church

Grace Episcopal Church is on the eastern end of the Colonial Pkwy. at 111 Church St. Built of native marl about 1697, it was burned partially in 1814 but later rebuilt. Among the graves in the churchyard is that of Thomas Nelson Jr., a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
