Virginia Quilt Museum

Virginia Quilt Museum is off I-81 exit 245, just w. on Port Republic Rd., then 1 mi. n. to 301 S. Main St. (US 11). Rotating exhibits of antique, contemporary and fiber art quilts are displayed in the 1856 Warren-Sipe House. The house is where the “Boy Major,” Confederate officer Joseph Latimer, died from his battle wounds.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
