The Edith J. Carrier Arboretum is at 780 University Blvd. Situated beside an oak and hickory forest, the 125-acre arboretum includes cultivated gardens, an amphitheater, a greenhouse and an education building. Along the John Clayton Trail, visitors will find azalea, rhododendron and wildflowers.
