Hardesty-Higgins House Visitor Center

Hardesty-Higgins House Visitor Center is at 212 S. Main St. The building was the residence of Harrisonburg’s first mayor, Isaac Hardesty, in the mid-1800s. Today it serves as the local visitor center; it also houses the Civil War Orientation Center, the Valley Turnpike Museum, and a bakery and café.
