Chincoteague Pony Centre

Chincoteague Pony Centre is at 6417 Carriage Dr. The facility houses Chincoteague ponies that visitors can pet and ride. The Memories of Misty Museum features memorabilia and other items that highlight the pinto horse featured in the 1947 children's novel “Misty of Chincoteague” and the 1961 film “Misty.” A pony show is offered nightly in season and showcases the talents of the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team. The skilled animals perform various drills, stunts and maneuvers during the presentation, which lasts approximately one hour.
