Battery Park

Battery Park, downtown at the top of Battery St., was the 1812 scene of an engagement between U.S. land batteries and British vessels on Lake Champlain. The park has year-round scenic views and an ice-skating rink in winter. The Burlington Concert Band takes the stage on Sunday evenings during summer months.

Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
