Red Butte Garden

Red Butte Garden, 300 Wakara Way on the University of Utah campus, has hiking trails and paved garden paths, wildlife, waterfalls, a floral walk, a children's garden, and terraced herb, medicinal and fragrance gardens. More than 400,000 bulbs bloom in the spring, and the rose garden features more than 175 varieties. Morning bird-watching tours, evening garden tours and wildflower hikes are given seasonally, and outdoor concerts also take place.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
