Fort Buenaventura

Fort Buenaventura is off I-15, then e. to 2450 A Ave. A replica of an 1836 stockade and cabins built by trapper and early settler Miles Goodyear stand in this park. Wooden pegs and mortise and tenon joints were used instead of nails to construct the stockade. Fishing and canoeing are permitted. Hiking trails are on the grounds.

Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
