Gifford House Store and Museum

Gifford House Store and Museum is in Capitol Reef National Park, 1 mi. s. of the visitor center on Scenic Drive. The homestead features a renovated farmhouse, a barn, a smokehouse and a pasture. The site depicts the lifestyle of early 20th-century Mormon settlers in the Fruita Valley. Antiques on display include a treadle sewing machine, Hoosier cupboard and Monarch cookstove.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
