African American Museum

African American Museum is at 3536 Grand Ave. in Fair Park. Art, culture and history are preserved at this museum, which boasts high wooden ceilings. Historical collections such as the Texas Black Women's History Archives Collection and the Freedman's Cemetery Artifact Collection are included. Other artifacts, African American fine art, folk art and archives also are displayed.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
