George Bush Presidential Library and Museum

George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is .8 mi. w. of Wellborn Rd. (FM 2154) at 1000 George Bush Dr. W. The 90-acre complex preserves an extensive collection of photographs, official and personal papers and video footage. Some 90,000 items include gifts of state and personal items. A film chronicles the 41st president's life.

Highlights of the museum are a World War II Avenger torpedo bomber, a 1947 Studebaker, a slab of the Berlin Wall and replicas of Bush's Oval Office, the White House Situation Room and the White House Press Room. Changing exhibits also are presented.
