Dr Pepper Museum is at 300 S. Fifth St. A historical perspective of Dr Pepper and its creator Charles Alderton is explained through historic memorabilia and displays. A soda fountain serves freshly mixed drinks. The third level of the building houses the Free Enterprise Institute, which honors leaders in the world of soft drinks. The Emerson Holt-Ted Getterman Gallery features exhibits on the 7UP bottling process, the science behind soft drinks, Big Red’s history and restored beverage wagons and trucks.
