Mission San Juan Capistrano

Mission San Juan Capistrano is located at 9101 Graf Rd. in San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. The small chapel was relocated to the San Antonio River from East Texas in 1731 and restored in 1909; there are ruins of a larger church that was never completed.

Explore the Yanaguana Trail, a paved .25-mile loop trail that takes you to an original stretch of the San Antonio River, and follow the acequias (irrigation ditches) that still carry water from the river to the fields. The farmland is used today to feed the people in the community.

Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Picnicking is permitted.
