American Windmill Museum

American Windmill Museum is at 1701 Canyon Lake Dr. A large indoor exhibit hall features more than 100 American-style windmills from 1868 to the present as well as 4,000 feet of “G” Scale train track with railcars and scenery from the early 1900s. The Linebery Windmill Park is 28 acres of rolling countryside that features more than 60 working windmills ranging in style from early wooden to modern metal; some stand more than 55 feet high. Of interest is the Legacy of the Wind mural.
