Harlingen Arts & Heritage Museum

Harlingen Arts & Heritage Museum is 3 mi. n. in Harlingen Industrial Air Park at Boxwood and Raintree sts. The five-building complex features displays about the history of the lower Rio Grande Valley, especially its bicultural heritage. A 19th-century Paso Real Stagecoach Inn is restored and furnished in period. The area's first hospital, which operated 1923-25, displays medical equipment of that era. The home of Lon C. Hill, founder of Harlingen, is on the grounds. A video presentation is offered.
