The Moody Mansion

The Moody Mansion is at 2618 Broadway Ave. Built about 1895 in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, the 32-room mansion was purchased by entrepreneur William L. Moody Jr. after the great hurricane of 1900. The interior features stained glass, carved wood, tile work, fancy plaster work and stenciling. Visitors can tour two floors where rooms are furnished in the opulence of a wealthy family in the early 1900s.
