Fort Worth Botanic Garden is n. of I-30 off University Dr. at 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd., across from Trinity Park. This 110-acre complex features 23 specialty gardens, including a rose garden dating from 1933, a 10,000-square-foot conservatory with a tropical collection, a water conservation garden, a 7.5-acre Japanese garden, and one of the largest public perennial trial gardens in north-central Texas. An elevated boardwalk through a native forest features 13 interpretive stations. Special events are held throughout the year.
