Mesquite Championship Rodeo

Mesquite Championship Rodeo is on I-635 at Military Pkwy. exit 4. Held in the 5,500-seat, air-conditioned Mesquite Arena, the rodeo competition includes professional bull and bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down and team roping, and barrel racing performed by cowgirls. Rodeo clowns, the Priefert Shark Cage, chuck wagon races, a calf scramble and a laser show are part of the entertainment. Visitors can also ride a pony and have their photo taken while sitting on a bull.
