Dallas Museum of Art

Dallas Museum of Art is at 1717 N. Harwood St. Displays range from pre-Columbian and African artifacts to Impressionist and contemporary works. The permanent collection boasts strong holdings in the arts of the ancient Americas, Africa and South Asia and in European and American painting, sculpture and decorative arts, such as Asian bronze works, masks from the Pacific, African Congo sculpture, Colonial decorative arts and works by contemporary artists.

Galleries include works by Henri Matisse, Claude Monet and John Singer Sargent, sculpture by Henry Moore and Auguste Rodin and paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe and Jackson Pollock. Traveling displays, smartphone tours and thematic guided tours are offered. Modern sculpture and fountains adorn the grounds.
