River Valley Pioneer Museum

River Valley Pioneer Museum, 118 N. 2nd St., chronicles the history and settlement of the Hemphill County area. Well-done exhibits focusing on regional geology, archeology, industry and other topics provide insight into what life was like here from the time giant mastodons roamed to the early 20th century.
