Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site

Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site is 1.5 mi. w. to 890 SR 56. The 12-room country house of the former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives contains family furnishings and belongings. Guided tours interpret the life and work of this powerful, long-term Congressional leader.
