Fannin County Museum of History

Fannin County Museum of History is at 1 Main St. Twelve rooms of a restored 1900 train depot display Native American artifacts, fossils, antique farm tools, quilts and furniture, railroad memorabilia, vintage clothing, documents and photographs of area history. A World War II exhibit has a restored Fairchild PT19 airplane. A fire museum and memorabilia depicting the life and music of jazz guitarist Charlie Christian also are included.
