Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum

Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum is 5 mi. s. on US 69 to University Dr. on the campus of Lamar University. An oil-field boomtown has been re-created at the museum, which features 16 buildings and equipment of the era that led to the liquid-fuel age. Gladys City history also is chronicled in a video.
