AAA Editor Notes
Clifton Steamboat Museum is at 8727 Fannett Rd. (US 124). Exhibits highlight the steamboat era, the Battle of San Jacinto, the Civil War and its significance to southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana, and the republic of Texas and its statehood. An art gallery and exhibits about World War II and the Boy Scouts also are available.
