Amarillo Zoo

Amarillo Zoo is at N.E. 24th Ave. and Dumas Dr. in Thompson Memorial Park. A herd of bison grazes on a 14-acre range in the zoo, which displays animals indigenous to the area. Visitors also can see such animals as kangaroos, bears, lions, tigers, spider monkeys, ringtail lemurs and a variety of reptiles, amphibians and birds. A small playground is at the center of the zoo.
