Rose Center

Rose Center is at 442 W. 2nd North St. Housed in a restored 1892 school building, this cultural, educational and historical center has a period classroom exhibit and children’s touch museum. The Hal Noe Gallery has a collection of old photographs, Civil War artifacts, a Melville Murrell flying machine exhibit and area historical memorabilia. The Edith Davis Gallery offers monthly changing exhibits of local and regional artists’ works. Monthly concerts by regional artists also are featured. Special events are held throughout the year.
