Blount County Historical Museum, 1006 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy., covers Blount County history with displays about the Civil War, agriculture and settlement geography and an HO-scale operating model train layout. A Model T Ford and a 1926 American LaFrance fire engine can be seen. Guided tours are available by appointment.
