Chapel in the Hills

Chapel in the Hills is 4 mi. w. on SR 44/Jackson Blvd., then 1 mi. s. to 3788 Chapel Ln., following signs. The chapel is a replica of the 12th-century Borgund Stavkirke (stave church) in Laerdal, Norway, and is adorned with intricate woodcarving. The chapel is nestled in a wooded area at the city limits. A log cabin museum contains Norwegian antiques. The Meditation Walk, a prayer/meditation path with benches and statuary, winds into a secluded forest area.
