Broken Boot Gold Mine is 1 mi. w. near the junction of US 14A and Upper Main St. at 1200 Pioneer Way. The mine produced gold 1878-1904. Early mining processes and equipment can be viewed on guided 30- to 40-minute underground tours. Visitors also may pan for gold.
