Walterboro Wildlife Sanctuary

Walterboro Wildlife Sanctuary, just e. of I-95 exit 53 at 399 De Treville St., encompasses more than 600 acres and offers visitors biking and hiking trails, as well as canoeing and kayaking opportunities if the water level is sufficient. There are benches and boardwalks that enhance flora and wildlife viewing. Picnic tables also are provided.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
