Swan Lake Iris Gardens

Swan Lake Iris Gardens is at 822 W. Liberty St. The eight species of swans from around the world are the dominant feature in the park. The 150 acres of lawns, landscaped gardens, lakes and pinewoods are known for a beautiful collection of Japanese irises, which bloom in mid-May. Held over Memorial Day weekend, the Sumter Iris Festival includes concerts, an arts and crafts show, a flower show, contests and children's activities.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
