The Calvin Gilmore Theater

The Calvin Gilmore Theater, jct. US 17 and US 17 bypass at 8901 N. Kings Hwy., is a 2,000-seat theater presenting five shows. The Carolina Opry features a wide variety of music, comedy and dance. Time Warp showcases the music and culture of the 1960s, '70s and '80s. Thunder and Light is a mix of clogging, magic, dance and laser lights. The Myrtle Beach Performing Arts series presents speakers, comedians and concerts throughout the year. The Carolina Opry Christmas Special celebrates the holiday season with a blend of new and classic songs along with dance and comedy.
