SkyWheel Myrtle Beach

SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, at the Boardwalk and Promenade at 1110 N. Ocean Blvd., dominates the skyline. At nearly 200 feet tall, this observation wheel offers a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Grand Strand from 42 enclosed, climate-controlled gondolas, each of which seats six. Rides last 8-10 minutes and offer three rotations for multiple viewpoints. Views of the vicinity are obviously hindered after dark, but a nighttime light show created by a dazzling LED lighting system that can display over 16 million colors is offered each evening.

The ride is at a very modest speed.
