Family Kingdom Amusement Park, 300 S. Ocean Blvd., will make you think you’ve traveled several decades back in time with its old-school rides and games. Highlights of this seaside park include the Swamp Fox, a scream-inducing 2,400-foot wooden roller coaster; a 1923 carousel with elaborate prancing horses; and a 100-foot Ferris wheel with exhilarating views of the ocean.
In all, the park has 38 rides. It also features carnival and arcade games as well as fried fare like corn dogs and funnel cakes. Adding to the revelry are magicians, clowns, stilt walkers and other entertainers. Splashes, a water park, offers slides, flumes, a lazy river and children's play areas.
