Historic Columbia House Tours

Historic Columbia House Tours depart from the Robert Mills House, 1616 Blanding St. Guided 45-minute tours — of multiple 19th- and 20th-century houses in downtown Columbia — address architecture, the planter class and enslaved African Americans. Historic houses include the Robert Mills House, Hampton-Preston Mansion and Gardens, Mann-Simons Site, and Woodrow Wilson Family Home. From mid-November through late December, Holiday Tours through the houses feature period decorations and stories about past holiday traditions.

Note: Tickets for each house are issued at the Robert Mills House; the tour guide then escorts the group. Socially distanced outdoor tours are available.
