Strom Thurmond Institute

Strom Thurmond Institute, at 230 Kappa St. at Clemson University, contains papers and memorabilia documenting the life and career of U.S. Sen. James Strom Thurmond. Also featured are a rare book collection and documents from such important political leaders as John C. Calhoun; the university archives; and manuscript collections, the focus of which is primarily South Carolina. Changing exhibits are presented.
