The main house offers large, well-decorated rooms with ornate woodwork. More modest units reside in the adjacent carriage houses, which provide guests more privacy and separate street access. A signer of the Constitution is credited with building this 1763 inn, which features elaborate plasterwork, iron balconies and Italian marble fireplaces.
