Aiken County Historical Museum

Aiken County Historical Museum, 433 Newberry St. S.W., occupies Banksia, the 1930s estate of Richard Howe. Rooms depict late 18th-, 19th- and 20th-century life in Aiken County. Displays include military and Native American artifacts, pottery, a drugstore from the former town of Dunbarton and a handmade miniature circus featuring 1,700 pieces.
