Mazatlán Aquarium

Mazatlán Aquarium (Acuario Mazatlán) is half a blk. e. of Av. del Mar at Av. de los Deportes #111. It displays 250 species of fresh and saltwater marine life, from colorful reef fish to moray eels to sea turtles, in some 50 tanks. A sea lion show is presented several times daily in an open-air amphitheater. There also is an exotic bird show utilizing birds confiscated from vendors who captured them illegally.
