AAA Inspector Notes
Built in 1879, this Victorian era inn is located on a hilltop overlooking their six landscaped acres and the sea. This quiet retreat features an wrap-around porch and nicely decorated interiors. There's a full-service restaurant with an evolving from scratch menu crafted with local island produce and fish. The cocktail and wine list is well curated and best enjoyed on an Adirondack chair at sunset. The freshly prepared continental breakfast is prepared by the onsite pastry chef each morning for an additional charge. Items typically include house made granola, quick breads, yogurt and fresh fruit. On weekends, brunch is available. Some rooms are on the smaller side but those are usually the ones that offer the best value. Many have view of the water and countryside. Bike racks are available if you bring your bicycle or rent one from the local shops. Smoke free premises. 23 units, some efficiencies and kitchens. 3 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.
