Roger Williams Park can be reached from I-95S exit 17 or I-95N exit 16 to Elmwood Ave., following signs. The 435-acre Victorian era park includes more than 100 acres of lakes as well as several miles of walking paths. The William E. Benedict Memorial to Music amphitheater is a stage for concerts. Also on the grounds are greenhouses and Betsy Williams Cottage, built in 1773. Carousel Village features a boundless playground, a replica of a Victorian carousel, a bouncy tent and boat rentals. Paddleboating and a trackless train are offered seasonally.
